Forum Finance Limited was founded in 1990 by Barry Mamtora — a specialist broker with a clear vision: build a brokerage where clients are advised rather than sold to, where claims are fought rather than managed, and where relationships last decades, not just to the next renewal.
In 1998 we moved into Sai Maa House on Kenton Road in Harrow — our home ever since. That stability is deliberate. Our clients know where to find us. Our team knows our clients. Long-term relationships are how we deliver the service we promise.
Today Forum Insurance is run by Amish Mamtora, Managing Director and the second generation of the family at the helm. The team has grown into a bench of specialist brokers covering every sector from petrol stations and forecourts to dental practices, construction and high-net-worth private clients.
Keeping our clients year after year doesn't happen by accident. It happens because we answer the phone when clients call, fight their corner when a claim arises, and treat their insurance as a genuine business issue — not a commodity.

Barry Mamtora establishes Forum Finance Limited in North West London. The founding principle: specialist knowledge, personal service, genuine advocacy for clients.
A Decade in Broking
Ten years established in general and SME broking — the foundation of the commercial expertise Forum is known for today.
The Forum Insurance Name
The business adopts the Forum Insurance name, registered with the FCA that June and carried ever since.
Twenty Years · Joining Bluefin
Twenty years in broking. Forum joins the Bluefin Network, widening access to insurer markets and strengthening compliance behind the scenes.
Second Generation Joins
Amish Mamtora joins the business full time, bringing a new generation of strategic leadership while preserving the values and client relationships built over two decades. Appointed a director in 2017.
Into Lloyd's of London
Forum begins placing mid-market policies at Lloyd's of London, opening access to specialist capacity for larger and more complex risks.
Petrol Stations & Forecourts
Forecourt insurance launches as a dedicated specialism — one of the sectors Forum is best known for today.
Thirty Years · Crown Commercial Service
Thirty years in broking. Forum is approved on the Crown Commercial Service framework, giving councils, schools and government bodies a compliant route to appoint us.
Two Brokerages Join Forum
Forum acquires Riordan Eabry & Co, established 1976, together with its subsidiary Robert Campbell London. Niraj Mamtora joins full time the same year, appointed a director in 2023.
Two Specialist Divisions
Forum Private Clients and Forum Claims Assistance launch as dedicated divisions — one for high-net-worth personal cover, one for hands-on claims advocacy.
